First, what a year. These boys have been on a season long roller coaster ride from day one. Pre-season ranking of 5/6 depending on the site, then with-in 8 game are outta the top 25. That is humiliating to the team/players and for the fans, we are getting ready for another potential let down. Louisville has long been known for their college sports fans...we love our teams. Sure we don't have the longevity of the UNCs or the UCLAs, and with no disrespect to my cross state rivals, but UK is one of the historically dominate collegiate mens bball programs. Where are they. We have a true opportunity to make a big splash in the NCAA this year, no recruiting violations, no true one man superstar, just a raw and relentless approach by our players to win, or at least give it the best shot. Coming up short only hurts if you know there is something else that you coulda done to persuade the outcome to be in your favor. I believe that we have a legitimate shot at the 2008 National Championship, and I think that if this is our year to win it all, next year looks even more promising. Yes we are losing our "star" player (DP), but Earl Clark's (E5) game is looking more and more like Davids every day, and what a finger roll. Get back at me if you got any comments. Good luck Cards, hope to see ya in San Antonio!
